Non-Profit status under the IRS should be applied for

It was discussed that the club needs to apply for the non-profit tax exempt status for Hobby clubs under the IRS 501(C) 7, since nothing has been done.  The one-time fee of $850 is charged to apply for the status.  Once accepted there will need to be a yearly filing sent to the IRS.

The schedule for the Pulls in 2014 was discussed.  Discussion was made about the Tabor pull on June 28.  Tabor wanted us to run the pull, but limit the pull to only 4 hours, starting at 1pm and ending at 5pm.

All in attendance was not in favor of the pull having the time limited, so it was voted on not to get involved in the Tabor pull this year if they were going to limit the pull to only 4 hours.

Axle Gusset

All tractors with welded hubs are required to have 4 welded gussets.  Tech committee will inspect, and pullers will be allowed to pull at their first event without gussets if deemed safe by the tech committee.
