Banquet Overview

Welcome – Mark McVay, President

Maria/Mary handed out Banquet Agenda, Treas. Report, and 2011 t-pull schedule

We announced we need to elect a new vice president

Bob Wingert, Mike Bruning, and Gary Jipsen were nominated by members in club (took a written vote)

- Voting Results: Bob Wingert was elected Vice President (Bob W. 18, Mike B. 5, Gary J. 6)

Mark McVay - President covered Teching (we are going to be teching tractors at the beginning of the Pulls If your tractor has not been checked previously this year you must get it checked by one of our tech guys - Rich Wenzig or Warren Burgland)

- Sportsmanship: Everyone needs to show good sportsmanship...no matter the issue

Mark announced that No one pulled in our new Field Class in 2010. It was suggested that we bring in 7000 pound class and do away with the Field Class. However if someone would show up and want a field class they will be allowed to pull expedition. (took a written vote)

- Voting Results: Yes: 25 No: 2 (we will now be having a 7000 lb. class)

Mark - Strokes for Div.II (took written vote)

- Voting Results: Yes: 10 No: 16 ( No strokes in Div. II )

Mark - It was asked if we could have a Div.I class. ( we all agreed that we will have a Div.I class if we have enough puller to make a class otherwise they can pull in Div.II )

Maria Sievers - Secretary/Tres. asked to have dues changed to be paid at the first pull you show up to pull at. This way there is no confusion on how much to charge the puller and it is easier to do points this way. (This was agreed on by everyone at the banquet)

Maria - It was brought up last year if we wanted to increase our member fee. (took a written vote)

- Voting Results: Yes:10 No: 13 (Dues will remain at $25)

Maria - It was brought up that we might want to make a waiver for our pulls...you will only have to sign once and it will be good for the pulling season of 2011 (it was agreed by everyone to have a wavier for 2011 season)

We asked everyone that we may want to have a backup fund for our club (doesn't include member fees or hook fees) just a general fund ... This was agreed on by everyone that we will have a Free Will Donation Fund

We also asked everyone on ideas on how to get more people to our pulls (we decided to post posters of our pulls in the surounding areas of where our pulls are located).

Maria - Prizes need ideas...it was decided to suggest ideas thoughout the year as you think of them....so far we have ( magnets )

Maria - We went over the schedule to confirm a few times and dates and to see what pulls we would like to have as points

Maria - I read the 2010 Season Points for all the classes and handed out the prizes for 2010 season and the 2009-2010 plaques to all pullers.
